It’s a pleasure for me to welcome you to the first ALICE – Advanced Live Interventional Course in Essen. Interventional Neuroradiology is a fast progressing field where new devices, embolizing agents and techniques are steadily arising and developing. During the 2 days of the course, we wish to expose and discuss all current and upcoming techniques, devices and indications. A group of international experts will be present to moderate, expose and discuss the treatment modalities based on live cases and previous experiences. We intend to focus specifically on the treatment of wide necked aneurysms using single or double balloon remodelling technique, treatment of fusiform and giant aneurysms using flow diverters, treatment of dural fistulae using Onyx and the venous remodelling technique and treatment of AVMs with Onyx and detachable tip micro catheters. I’m looking forward to seeing you in Essen in November. Sincerely yours, René Chapot
